A powerful, yet safe, chemical peel that is suitable for all skin types and complexions. Consists of a unique blend of alpha-hydroxy acid, beta-hydroxy acid, resorcinol and retinoic acid. Results are noticeable after just one peel; dramatic results are seen after a series of peels.
NV Plus Peel
The same blend of acids in the NV peel, but in twice the concentrations. Prescription strength Hydroquinone may be added if appropriate for a more even complexion and improvement in pigment changes caused by acne scarring, sun damage or hormone changes.
NV Instant Glow Facial
This light, starter peel is an excellent choice for those on-the-go or for those new to medical-grade peels. Suitable for all skin types, the NV Instant Glow Facial utilizes a special blend of powerful ingredients that are perfect for producing that healthy glow. For that extra boost, you can ask your aesthetician for available options to enhance this NV Instant Glow Facial.
NV MicroPeel
Safe, effective "lunchtime peel" with no downtime. Micro-thin layers of skin are removed by Dermaplaning or an Enzyme mask, followed by an application of skin appropriate acid and finished with Cryogenic Therapy to relieve inflammation and soothe the skin. This in-office procedure will help smooth fine lines and help even skin discoloration while reducing the appearance of acne scars and environmental damage to the skin.
Vi Peel
A single Vi Peel will achieve significant repair and add a healthy glow to the skin. It is a restorative and painless repair of damaged skin including sun damage and acne. Best of all, it is a true aging preventive for younger skin with no visible damage. The Vi Peel uses the synergy of various acids to produce a multitude of positive effects. It tackles skin problems at the cellular level rather than just burning skin off. Thanks to the concerted actions of its many acids and vitamins, it will help erase fine lines and wrinkles, shrink enlarged pores and build collagen and elastin which tighten skin. It is extremely effective in practically eliminating hyperpigmentation including melasma, the most difficult pigmentation issue to address. The Vi Peel also provides excellent results for patients with acne. It is painless, yet produces dramatic visible results in just days with little downtime.
Jessner Peel
This is a medium depth peel designed for more extensive damage than AHA's can improve. It is made from salicylic acid (a beta hydroxy acid), lactic acid (an alpha hydroxy acid) and resorcinol. Your surgeon or skin technician will apply a glycolic cleanser over your face to fully remove the oils and horny layer so that your Jessner's solution will penetrate properly. Then he or she will apply the Jessner's solution to your face, and it will then burn slightly (although this uncomfortable sensation can be relieved by a fan blowing cool air on your treatment area). Depending on your skin, you may have several layers applied. You may develop a whitened look, known as "frosting" that will dissipate within a few hours. Your skin technician will neutralize the acid and remove your solution with cool water. Your technician may then apply a calming mask and you will be sent home. You will peel and flake for about 7 days and turn pink or brown afterwards. After you heal nice, smooth skin will be revealed.
Epionce Organic Equalizer Peel
The Epionce Equalizer Peel is a professionally administered, interchangeable 4-step system that delivers maximum efficacy with minimal barrier disruption and irritation. Formulated for all skin types, this gentle peel effectively re-texturizes, rejuvenates, and improves the overall appearance of the skin. Key ratios of beta-hydroxy acids target problem and acne-prone skin by unclogging pores and reducing the presence of bacteria and yeast, and alpha-hydroxy acids remove the superficial layers of the stratum corneum, resulting in healthier, more radiant skin. The Epionce Organic Peel effectively encourages cell renewal to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation, while stabilizing and accelerating the skin’s healing process.
Power Peel
This process combines microdermabrasion with a glycolic or salicylic peel to improve skin texture. Power Peels are effective for the treatment of deeper lines and wrinkles, sun damage, uneven skin tones, superficial scars, acne and acne scarring. A series of treatments are recommended at the discretion of your skincare professional. Your skin's overall health and appearance will be dramatically improved.
Obagi Blue Peel
If you're looking to jump-start your skin transformation the Obagi Blue Peel System may be right for you. Obagi Blue Peel is conducted in your Physician's office. Prior to and after the procedure, your Physician will recommend use of the Obagi Nu-Derm System. Unlike common alpha-hydroxy peels or at-home procedures, the Obagi Blue Peel puts control of your treatment in professional hands. Based on your individual needs and skin condition, your skin professional determines the strength of the peel.
The Obagi Blue Peel uses Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) as the active ingredient mixed with the patented Blue Base from Obagi. Your skin professional will apply the Obagi Blue Peel based on your level of damage and your desired level of transformation. The Obagi Blue Peel procedure takes less than an hour in your Physician's office and does not typically require sedation. Your skin professional will apply the Blue Peel typically to your face and neck. A mild burning sensation will occur that generally lasts only a few minutes. Then you may experience a bluish tint to your skin that usually washes off in 12 to 24 hours. Your skin professional will advise you on how many peels are needed to give you the desired result.
Depending on the strength and depth following the procedure, you will experience light swelling. Within two to three days, your skin will begin to peel. This peeling continues over the next several days. By the seventh to tenth day, your skin should be healed. Once your skin has completely recovered and is finished peeling, you will notice a visible improvement in your complexion. Your skin's appearance should continue to improve for the next four to six weeks, becoming firmer, clearer, smoother, healthier and more youthful looking.
WARNINGS: The procedure for and use of TCA can only be performed by a Physician or if permitted by law, a properly trained specialist working under a Physician’s supervision. Proper medical knowledge is essential to the performance of any TCA peel. The treating Physician is responsible for informing a patient about potential medical risks and complications.
Body Peels (Arms and Chest)
Your face is not the only skin surface that suffers the effects of aging and sun exposure. We have consistent success with special peels for the arms and chest, areas which normally are more difficult to improve. As we age, the accumulated effects of sun exposure can damage our skin and cause us to look older than we are. Such skin damage can be treated with a chemical peel, a non-invasive procedure designed to promote cell growth and produce smoother, clearer skin.
Body chemical peel sessions are spaced a month or two apart, to prevent skin damage and optimize results depending on the strength used. Medical-grade microdermabrasion may also be an option used before a chemical peel to accelerate and enhance results (depending on your skin’s condition).
