Kybella
Kybella is a non-surgical injectable designed to permanently reduce stubborn pockets of unwanted fat—refining and contouring areas that don’t respond to diet or exercise. While commonly used under the chin, Kybella can also be strategically used on other small, localized areas of fat to enhance overall shape and definition. At Skin NV, Kybella is performed with precision and intention—focusing on subtle contouring and balanced, natural-looking results.
-
Kybella is an FDA-approved injectable formulated with synthetic deoxycholic acid, a molecule naturally found in the body that helps break down and absorb fat. When injected into targeted areas, it works to permanently destroy fat cells. Once these fat cells are eliminated, they can no longer store or accumulate fat—making Kybella a long-term solution for stubborn, resistant fat.
-
Kybella is administered through a series of small, precise injections into the treatment area. The active ingredient breaks down fat cell membranes, allowing the body to gradually metabolize and eliminate them over time.
Common treatment areas include:
Submental fullness (under the chin)
Jawline contouring
Bra fat / underarm area
Lower abdomen (small pockets)
Inner thighs
Above the knees
