  • No—threads are typically not visible after a thread lift, and in most cases, you also won’t feel them once initial healing is complete.

    Immediately after treatment, some patients may notice mild swelling, tenderness, or slight tightness, and occasionally you may feel the threads under the skin for a short period. This sensation usually resolves within a few days to a couple of weeks as swelling subsides and the threads settle into place.

  • Both dermal fillers and PDO thread lifts complement each other but address different concerns. Fillers restore lost volume and soften folds, such as the nasolabial folds, while also improving hollow or deflated areas of the face. PDO threads focus on lifting and tightening sagging skin, especially in areas like the jowls and lower face where volume alone may not provide enough lift.
